Dr Shen Hongxun asked Shen Jin to develop a short form as many people find it difficult to remember the long Taiji form.
The idea of this form is to have a compact form that you can practice in your own home and is easy to remember.
It is based on the eight directions and integrates all of the key elements of Taijiquan.
Shen Jin teaches this form using the principles of Taiji 37. First, we have standing positions which help us to develop empty force and then we see how these different positions can combine into a form.
The importance is not the form itself but its development through the activation of the dantian. This helps to bring balance to the body and the mind.
Shen Jin has already taught this form in France and Norway and now would like to develop it in all countries.
This short form is also taught during the Taijiwuxigong teacher training course with the idea that it can be taught at the end of each Taijiwuxigong lesson in order for this powerful technique to be learnt by all of the students of the Buqi movement.
